Full Version: Chamillionaire's Ultimate Victory Album
I said it before in the other thread.. I figure i create a new topic for it.. But Be sure to get Chamillionaire's new album.. It's one of the best albums that i heard in a long while.. The debate shouldn't even be who is better.. 50 cent or kanye west... Chamillionaire owns them both hands down with this album.

I've read this board for a while but never signed up until now... This is a great CD! I bought it the day it came out, been listening every day since. Nothing against 50 or Kanye but Chamillionaire is one of the most talented people in rap today. This album is chock full of concepts and actually has something to say, plus it's simply good music.
One song I keep playing over and over is "We Breakin Up", can't seem to stop listening to it. I also like the song with the video where he dresses up as all these different characters (Bill O Reilly and Al Sharpton-type characters)...
Well I guess I'll have to stop lurking now, at least for a while!
Welcome to the forum. Yeah i love just about every song on the album.. Ultimate Vacation, Victory, Morning news, has been my fav so far. It's just so catchy and the flow is hot.

It's kinda crazy, I have little cousins and this is the first time I felt okay playing a CD with them around. I listen to rap all the time but usually not around the kids.
Eh, I'm planning on buying this one too. I'm kind of surprised that he decided to keep his album clean, which I find it okay since this album can now be played in places you would imagine, like school, stores, etc. Heck even Radio Disney is playing some songs off this album.

That makes it even more impressive. The fact that he actually kept the whole album clean. Definitely one of my fav artist.
chams got a really nice flow, def one of the best out there, but he sounds too much like a technical robot, kind of like bun b

I dont know if I get what u mean by robot, I dont think he sounds like a robot but then again I think Bun B is one of the greatest ever also. To me 50 Cent sounds like a robot!

Im not really feelin out and I am BIG BIG fan of chamilionaire...
For me its the second best album of the year right behind Finding Forever
Too bad it only sold 78,000 in it's first week. Compared to Kanye's 900,000.

Because there is no buzz. The single sucked and he doesnt have anything to generate attention. Back then, he had the paul wall beef and called his sh*t sound of revenge. And he had "Ridin dirty" which blew the f*ck up.

I guess so. But Radio Disney is playing his new singles (because they're profanity free I guess), I was hoping that factor might make him boost sales from little kids who like rap music.
