8) Acceptance. Canada was the third country in the world to allow homosexuals to marry, the second to give female equality, and the first to have more than one national language.
9) We successfully stole LifeSavers from America, as it is now a Canadian company. It's all fair though, seeing that they have stolen a sh*t load of companies from us (Molson Canadian, Tim Hortons (Wendys), and many more...)
10) Mrs. Vickies is WAY better than Lays
11) The Hudson's Bay Company once owned over 10% of the earth's surface and is still around as one of the world's older companys. Again...American's stole that from us too.
12) We ALL have frozen our tongues to something metal and lived to tell about it.
13) Our currency is colourful and easy to sort.
14) We invented some of the worlds most well known sports! (Hockey, Basketball, Lacrosse)
15) Famous inventions: Alexander Graham Bell invented the Telephone & the Insulin Process was invented by Frederick Banting. Too many more to list.

Well it proves that Canada isn't the first country to approve more than one language.

- It's a good place to come from.
- It's a good passport to have.
- It's a nice place to visit, once every year or two.
- It's universities are all right.
- Montreal's cool.
- The variety of food is very good.
- Hockey rocks if you have time to follow it and can afford to go to the odd game.
- There's lots of salmon.

That's about all I can think of for now. Maybe I'll move back one day but it's nothing I have any interest in doing any time soon.

I hate conservative Canadians. They're the only reason why we have a clone of George Bush in office. ugh. Since when did western Canada have so much say in whatever the fu-k goes on in this country? And why did so many Ontarians still vote for the PC? What the hell is wrong with these fools. PC should get ZERO seats in Ontario. They got FORTY in 2006. Oh my goodness.

Anyways, I really can't wait to move to Canada and eventually gain Canadian citizenship in the long run, then I can probably vote for the Liberal Party in your country. They seem to be a better party in my opinion, your conservatives are a lot dumber than the ones here in the U.S.A.

I'd like to see the NDP have more power. Not necessarily IN power, but Ontarians should think about it. I think they're all still pissed off at Bob Rae, but I don't know. I'm not exactly that involved in politics.

I enjoyed watching that video! Made me laugh at some parts. My favorite part was when they were asking about why Canadians can't locate their home state on the map, and some kid just said "Wait a minute, Canada has provinces!", that made laugh so hard.

Yeah, but the $hit you mentioned about Canada is probably less severe than it is over here in Texas. Trust me I've been to Toronto twice in my life, and right after I come home I've noticed the negatives here in Texas is a lot less severe up in Canada.

I just met a new girl in my school who came from Houston and she's the same as iMumble, she thought this place was far better than the south even though it's not perfect. So i'm inclined to believe him now when he says he hates it there.

WTH well it would seem obvious to most... :S Just be a little bit more intuitive. Think about it for a second; Canada only borders one country, and that country happens to be the only world superpower. Without some solidarity, Canada would be completely consumed by America.

For a people to base their identity on fear and loathing of another people can't possibly be healthy. Americans are not the Borg. It seems to me it's corporate Canada that is interested in turning your country into an American satrapy, not your friends to the south.

Last I checked, Wal*mart was from Arkansas.
