Mumbai: He is the heartthrob of millions, and as a special guest at the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry's annual foundation day event, actor John Abraham came dressed in formal wear. It was a pleasant change to see John, who looked evidently out-of-place, not in his usual jeans-and-t-shirt look.

"I'm a bit nervous because I am standing with a group of esteemed people. I am humbled," said John.

When asked which newcomer he was betting his money on, out of the bunch of hopefuls that will make their debut in Bollywood this year, The actor said, "Well, the whole new lot that comes in is outstanding."

Talking about his own films, his next release, No Smoking which arrives in cinemas in October, is one that's aimed directly at the youth, John revealed.

"It's about a chain-smoker so I had to smoke in the film. It's a very socially respectable film. I think the youth needs to see the film," the actor said.

Another step into unconventional cinema for the actor, "No Smoking" is directed by Anurag Kashyap who has insisted many times that fans will see the hunky hero in a brand new avatar in his film. But does John's largely teenage fan base want to see him with his shirt on, doing serious movies? - That question will be answered when we see the collections of No Smoking next month.
