When I was in grade 4 I started to listen to mainstream music... Before that I wasn't really concerned with music and I just listened to whatever was on the radio in the car.
In grade 9 I was really into reggaeton.
By grade 11 I was really not into reggaeton.
Right now I mainly listen to mainstream rap (lol shut up), Canadian rap, Canadian rock, Brazilian rock, and electro... which judging from the electro artists I like, mainly come from France.

I see. Although what sucked about the music back in the beggining was that it was just N Sync, Backstreet Boys, and Spice Girls who topped the charts. The only thing I liked out of that era was Creed, Eminem, and Nelly.

for as long as i can remember... my brother was always watching MTV =p
dont listen to that much mainstream anymore since Hip Hop especially is nothin but fake, plastic, mass produced bull$hit, horrible rappers with lyrics to make you dumb as a fu-king a door... so sad what happened to the mainstream
2002, grade 7
I got into it late.
