My aunt makes about 140k a year.. and my uncle makes around 40k. They're super in love and super happy, not to mention super rich with super spoiled children. So it can work out as long as you love each other and don't let those kinds of facts get in the way of your relationship.

this economy is $hitty right about now. imo, who cares which person makes more money. if you are a healthy unit then it doesn't matter.

also,there are some careers that are just not esteemed, e.g. teaching.
