Hmmm two voted for no. I guess those two ppl think that sending U.S. soldiers to die in Japan's soil by the hundreds of thousands and not to mention the deaths of Japanese soldiers and civilians along with them is a good a idea.

Had the U.S. not nuked Japan, the war would have dragged on for years (the Japanese were fanatics) and more people would have died.

Did you know that in the Okinawa campaign, a 100 thousand civilians died. Just imagine what the death tally would have been if the Americans landed in Japan.

The nuking is justified.
