And I suppose LA is better...

I only know some Chinese restaurants... Most of them in San Francisco Chinatown...

There's that D&A Cafe on Broadway near Stockton. It's nearby Gold Mountain, too.

And there's a whole bunch of restaurants along Jackson near Kearney. Kay Cheung, Pearl City, Great eastern something. But I wouldn't recommend going to the bathroom... The old Chinese ladies destroy them... Well, Great Eastern might be an exception.

Eight Immortals on Taraval in the Sunset.

Koi Palace in Colma (bring a lot of money), near Serramonte Shopping Center. And right by it, is Circuit City, Office Depot, etc.

That's all I can remember for now...

But if you're looking for Thai or Vietnamese I can't help you there... There's a couple of small Vietnamese restaurants, but I haven't been to them...

this place is good. they opened one in Thunder Valley casino in the Sacramento area and its expensive. not sure if the bay area prices are the same as the one in the casino though.

3 egg rolls for 10 bucks and 40 bucks for a bowl of shark fin soup laugh.gif im not complaining though.. i get to eat there for free beerchug.gif

Go to Yelp.com for reviews on all sorts of restaurants, including Asian. I haven't been down to LA but I'm sure SF has a boatload of asian food. In general, go to the tenderloin for pho places, chinatown or noriega/taraval/irving st for chinese food, American Sushi House in pacifica for some good sushi. Most of the asian restaurants that I've been to were for the most part pretty authentic. Not sure where you've been going to. Hopefully not "Mr. Chow's Quick Asian Food" or some crap like that.
