God does anyone have or had this? I have one right now. And the worst part is I can't eat anything hard now, all I can now eat is Jello and Yougert until it subsides.

Strepsils and Lemsip should sort it out.
I find spicy food helps as well.

SOre throats are a pain.
I have one right now, and damn it hurts talking (loud) and eating.
Eat lots of cough drops and drink lots of warm water, it helps : )
A coulple a days and it should be gone.
