Full Story
Recently, there was a story in The Nation about building the new parliament house on the golf-course, which meant that the school Cholpratan Wittaya must be relocated.
Last year, many of the Mattayom students were ecstatic about the new seven storey building being constructed at the east end of the campus, and to hear that they might never sit in a classroom there was very sad to hear for me personally.
Although it must be costly as well as disconcerting for many people to move from an army barracks - I guess the one across the road from the golf course on Tiwanon but not sure yet - considering the sometimes nomadic nature of military life in comparison to the stability required for best academic performance, I am glad to hear that there may be a chance for the school to survive. There are approximately 5000 students from Anuban to Mattayom 6.

Note: This is the first new topic that I have posted on AF. I chose this forum topic and subject because of the importance of hearing something that, although I cannot be sure of the situation at Cholpratan Wittaya while so far away, remains in my thoughts long after I have last been there.
I hope this topic is okay to put here and shall try to maintain the thread's progress until the outcome.
