This guy was not communist at all.
But i bet i'm gonna get some bashings from S.Vietnam supporters who to this day won't recognize any of the revolutionary heros who foguht hard to rid of foreign dominance.

The Wuchang Uprising occurred in China on 10 October 1911. It quickly spread and declared itself the Republic of China. This greatly inspired Phan Bội Châu, since he had many friends among the Chinese revolutionaries. He thought this new regime would fix all that was wrong with the old China, and would unite with Japan to defeat the Europeans and build a strong Asia.

Leaving the farm in the hands of more than 50 of his comrades, he went to China to visit his friends there.

If Phan Boi Chau had succeeded in what Ho Chi Minh did, than we would've seen a different Vietnam and outcome, Communism would not be ruleing Vietnam today as Phan Boi Chau had a different philosophy than Ho Chi Minh, but the same #1 primary was to drive out the French and European forces.

Heil Phan Boi Chau and Ho Chi Minh.

North Vietnam #1.

During the last days of the Qing Dynasty, there was this reform party that tried to help the Emperor modernize China. This Reform Party had great goal, but they lack the experience to reform. There is no use of having great idea, if they don't have the experience and/or know to bring their goal into reality.

Phan Boi Chau was the same. He had great goal like the reform party during the last days of Qing Dynasty, but he had no experience in bringing them into reality. He couldn't manage his own group which caused them to betray and distrust one another.

President HCM was different because not only he had great goal, he also had the experience and know-how to bring his goal into reality. If he didn't take the experiences from France revolution and Russia, then President HCM would have failed.

North Vietnam #1 is politically correct, but that isn't the reality. The majority of the people in Southern Vietnam supported HCM. You are giving credit to N. Vietnam, but many people in the South supported and fought along side with HCM.

Phan Boi Chau is also one of the leader who wants Vietnam to industralize and model the same way as Japan.

Want and can do are two different matters.

Everyone has want, but are they able to do what they want.

all the poster is trying to say is that Phan Bội Châu had some chinese influence and chinese should get some credit for this embarassedlaugh.gif

also note how he always brings up the subject of North Vietnam vs. South Vietnam. Talktohand.gif Phan Bội Châu doesn't have anything to do with the conflict between the North and South Vietnam. You pick the wrong person to start a flaming topic embarassedlaugh.gif

Phan Boi Chau was not a communist so he deserved to be betrayed by HCM.

HCM had the experience and know-how to back-stab and kill off all nationalist leaders...a necessary step to consolidate absolute power, crush all oppositions and control the masses. HCM political ambition and determination was as great as Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

Phan Boi Chau wasn't a communist but he preferred, and his ideas were to get help from China
