U.S. Director of Central Intelligence Tenet reported to Congress after 9/11 that while there is no conclusive proof any nation or terrorist group has created an EMP weapon, however there is also an alarming absence of proof that the devices have not been in production.. Reports out of Asia indicate that at least one country, India, has been building such a weapon, "for peaceful purposes" in order to study its effects and perhaps to build safeguards against it.

Yes Indians have this capability. But Neutron bomb is more lethal.

EMP weopons are another thing all togther. EMP weopons are not the same as Neutron bombs.

Neutron bombs have been around for decades. Its construction are well known with all nuclear nations.
The main difference is that regular nuclear weopons are more distructive in terms of physical materials.

India has some pretty weak @$$ nukes and nobody knows if those can even deploy in a crisis situation. I hear they have ICBMs aimed at Pakistan and China which would be far more effective in a conventional war.

50 years is too much exaggeration. China conducted it's first nuclear test in 1964 and India conducted it's first nuclear test in 1974. India conducted it's first nuclear test exactly 10 years later than China's, not because India wasn't capable but because there was no political will to test a nuclear device before 1974.

For your information India successfully tested a nuclear bomb in 1974. Don't blame the mod for your stupid post. Your are arrogant and full of hate. Oh really? Then tell me from where China got it's nuclear technology? Every country got it from somewhere else China is no exception.

You are right when you say that every country gets its technology from some other country and China is no exception. What I wanted to say is even if this technology is made available, there are many countries in the world who cannot probably make use of it. This is because the technological level and quality of their scientists are so low.

Russia helped China, but the Chinese scientific community had the capability to absorb the technology. It means, Russia took the Chinese horse to the pond, but the Chinese horse drank water by itself.
