anyways...for us Lao Hmong folks...he's supposedly the almighty...creator of the world....

i don't think hmongs folks originally thought so until a bunch of Lao Hmong old G's started elaborating on the character of Yer Show.
when i read of yer show....or at least from one point of view....they made the man look like a Merlin or a Gandalf.
(one who advise, guide, and holds powerful magic....a demi-god)
Lao Hmong's which can't really trace, remember correctly of hmong history and folkores kind of made him Al' mighty to explain alot of hmong mythology.
Another Example of making up history and folklore: the old fashion "Mon go li" hmong girl who Mongolia was supposed to be named after..
another example....my dad told me Hmongs were from Mongolia....YEA YEA...U GUYS PROBABLY HEARD IT TOO..
WHere im trying to get at is that Shao is not the Al' Mighty for Hmongs....
I bet if u go to the hmongs in China...they probably give a different view on Shao....or Shao might not even be in existent to them!!
wat do u guys think,,,there may be different stories of the same story of Shao....and there may be more than one chronicle of him.

alli know about the yawm saub (sp?) is that shamans refer to him. i don't really hear other people say/talk about him but shamans. i've never heard anyone describe how the yawm saub looks like.
in my opinion, the spread of yawm saub spread the same as any religion or belief out there in the world. also ideas and beliefs evolve thru time and place so hmong-chinese (miaos) would probably see yawm saub differently as the hmong now would see yawm saub differently from the hmong way back in the day.

Nej tsis tau taub xwb......Yawm Saub is not as you have said. Yawm Saub is Hmoob's word for the Creator. Yawm Saub knew everything and gave life to the mankind. Yawm Saub is the "all knowing" and thus, called Yawm Saub. Those who have become Christians.....your God is my God whether you like it or not. Your God is Yawm Saub in a different name in a different language.
Don't doubt God's gift to mankind which is the will to choose and as God has descended upon Earth in order to give life to mankind and beings such as you and I....He also knew that we human beings are imperfect and will fight in love, war, ethics, beliefs, etc....therefore, He was clever enough to create a language for each group--becoming each race.....and He created an idol....a godly idol for each race to put their beliefs in.....and thus, in the end....We have religion......the very beginning of all beliefs is the creation of religion which came about because of God's wish for it to. Now we all have our own little religions to fight about, but in the end....God says that He is only One! All the gods that exist within each culture and each race.......He must adjust each belief in order for all to follow God. But Christians will not believe in God unless they can foresee what Jesus did in order to save the world from their sins.....Humans are sinned....and thus must be saved.....So now, Christians will only follow God through Jesus.....so they are not true believers in absence of Jesus.....but God knew that and that was why He sent Jesus. Hmoob believe that there is a Yawm Saub who created mankind....and also Faj Tim Huab Tais Ntuj Yawm Saub Siv Yig....or Lub Ntuj Lub Teb......that is not an entity in itself....but refers to God....the Heavens.....all refer to God......in the end, all world religions follow God. Don't misunderstand....for God knows the human mind and the human heart and He knows that He must appear in different forms in order to be received by us sinners.
Therefore in the end, we who believe in good and pureness and God and follows Him will truly see the light at the end of our journey. But all sinners must repent for you will be condemned into Hell should you not repent for your sins.
Alas, all is forgotten and God will forgive you if you redeem yourself. I encouraged you to truly follow God's way and live life with a pure and true heart. God is good and God is pure....God is the Creator and God will forgive you for your sins.
I am not a CHristian.....I am one who has received words from God and this is God's message to the world. All followers of the Lord will be saved and receive eternal bliss in Heaven. However, you are a sinner and will be such if you do not turn toward the light. God will bless you with eternal life in Heaven and He loves you for you are a part of Him and a part of His existence. But you will not be forgiven if you do not ask for forgiveness and repent.
This is all. Please do not bad mouth other religions for in the end, they are all ONE. God does not condemn followers who are different from you or me.....He has sent many angels down to earth and these are a part of GOd's messengers.
