aaaah, it's still ghetto as fu-k. I hate hip-hop. Some of the guys up in New Jersey were like this, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if those were East Coast guys, and they were awfully stupid. Everyone else was busy making something of themselves, chillin with cool people, enjoying/participating in "high" culture whether it was American or Indian; but these guys were too caught up with acting "hard" and trying to be black. They are shooting themselves in the foot by participating in ghetto culture. JUST SAY NO TO GHETTO CULTURE! Hip-Hop is dead, it's proven to be degenerate. If you want to make something of yourself, look how smart and succesful people act and emulate them, not these clowns. The only people who benefit from hip-hop are the people who collect the checks.

The funny thing is, is that even liberals(except for the commie, America hating types) know it's friggin degenerate. They don't want to say anything because they don't want to get branded as racists. I don't know how any sane person would consider kids growing up and idolizing friggin thugs to be a good thing. I'm not discounting things like historical discrimination and cultural isolation, but this sort of crap is counter-productive when you want ppl who's ancestors been in this country for hundreds of years to participate in mainstream society. I have similar reservations about bilingual education. Teach kids in English! Make them learn it.

The poor kids in the ghettos created Hip Hop(Peace, Love, Unity and Having Fun) as a counter attack to violence - > its not Hip Hop that is the negative force. Its about growing, being productive and create something positive and just having fun. Real people, Poets, writers, artists, jazz/funk musicians, dj's, break dancers, educated people(yes) inspired by the earlier generations.

The major record labels(white people in suits) took it raped it and removed intelligence, talent, real artists, positivity and brought the idolizing of thugs/gangs/n-word/violence/bling/cash/more violence/degrading women/b!tches and called it Rap/$hit Pop. Much like you see in many other musical genres right now. They found out people rather want to be fed bull$hit, so thats what they got and still get. Gangsters, idiots, degenerates, convicts, shoot this one shoot that one etc. Not Hip Hop.
