however, the following can be president of laos:

a person who is both a lao and a woman --> yes.

in the end your next question becomes -->> who is that person, i.e., a lao person who is both a female and is of lao descendant?

highly possible, most definately a woman will be president of Laos someday, if not anytime soon. Laos is not a super power nation so it doesn't matter as much to have a man's face as the forefront of her nation. Besides, I think a woman can lead a country and do just as great of a job or even better then a man can. One thing is for sure, at least we will never think with the wrong head!!!! If any man hasn't known already, Lao woman are highly intelligent, when sober....:-) heheheheheheheeh kakakakkakakak!!!!!! So no Johnny Walker please!!!!!

As long as the red neck republican don't win, i'll be happy for the rest of the year. Likely they'll win again this year. I have a feeling that OBAMA winning is intentional due to the Republican Voters. They're casting their votes for Obama. In the presidential election, Obama has less chance than Hillary to win the National election. It's fishy out there.

Actually, with what we have been having for the past eight years of presidency, I believe America is ready for a change, either black or woman. My vote is for Hillary all the way, but if she loses to Obama, he definately has my vote. tired of the same frigid, conservative religious views. Need a president that can support stem cells research to find cures for diseases and who believes in science. Besides, never bite on the hands that feed you. Democratic platform supports minorities and helping the poor. :-)

btw, Obama is 50% black and 50% white. I think he has a very fair chance of beating McCain.

Funny how it's, even though you only have 1% of black in you, people likely will categorize you of being black. Obama looks like regular black people out there. He doesn't look white at all.

Whoever loses the Democratic nomination should be picked for VP spot.

Obama doesn't like the idea that he'll be picked to be the vice president while Clinton as the president.

He won't have to...he is now the democratic candidate for presidency. I was hoping for Hillary, but I guess it is a man's world afterall. Was hoping for a change. Hillary will run beside Obama for Vice President....Its Obama all the way now. I hope he is the next President of the United States. America needs a face lift!

^I can't think of any other person in the Democratic party who deserves the spot for VP though, do you? Anyways, I just hope the Obama team doesn't become too prideful with their ego and not pic her out of fear of a Clinton-tagteam. That too me would be shameful.

I'm also highly suspicious about how eager the Republicans are with Obama running against McCain too. No matter, what, to me they see him as fresh meat and I'm nervous about November, because even though Obama has won the Nomination (thanks to Superdelgates supporting him now), people should remember he is not loved by everyone.

*The media's love-affair with him make it seem like ALL democrates/all Independants want Obama.
--However, the reality is; half of the Democratic party do not support him still!
*He's still serving his term in the Illinois Senate seat and the media portrays this as a very historic event too.
--However, no one was surprised that he won because he was running against another congressman who moved from Maryland to run in Illinois.


I can go on and on about how nervous I am about this.

^I've got my reasons and concerns about Obama, been a Political junkie all of my life. Father use to write back and forth with Bill Clinton about the situation in Laos (not going further than stating that).

Anyways, I'm an Independent. I don't like BOTH the Democratic or Republican parties. Enough already!

Do not vote for Obama, but vote for the ideas. Vote for the party that supports your beliefs. Do you find the following ideas important to you?

Do:

1. you care about woman's rights!
2. you care about affirmative actions!
3. you care about medical sciences and research...ie...stem cell research to extend and save a life!
4. you care about the world's environment!

If so, vote Obama, vote democratic!!! They are the party who supports these ideas. Your one vote can make a huge difference.

I'm ready for women president in any country especialy Laos. I highly doubt the guys in Laos will think so..

I think Argentina or Brazil just elected a female prime minister and England elected Margaret Thather back in the 90's. there's good possiblity that we'll have our 1st black president here in the US.
