I had no idea that losing such little amounts of weight could really affect the way that a person looks... But recently I saw that this was true. I saw a picture of someone before and after (exercise) and they looked totally different! Not just in the way they appeared, their mannerisms, but facially.

It was like a complete transformation.

On a rating scale, they'd move one point up!
Man.... who knew diet and exercise could do so much.

I'd say losing weight is only part of it. When ppl THINK they look better they start to act more confident and actually do start to look better.

Okay this kinda fit my description.
I did lose about 10pound since last month. I look better not only becasue i lose some weight, but because i also gain muscle while burning fat as well. Not to mention my belly don't stick out at all even after a big dinner now.

and you look kinda taller and bigger too since you're able to easily puff your chest out like a rooster!

Ew, if I was suppose to loose 10 LBs I would just look sick.

I don't think it's for everyone.

During school time, I did a lot of sports and didn't have time to eat much, so I would lose ten pounds in a week, and gain it back the next week deciding to eat more, then lose some more and gain some more.

No BS--

My grade 10 weight was a yoyo.

Except my friends couldn't tell. icon_smile.gif

well i don't know...when i was 25 lbs lighter i'd get hit on even if i didn't think i was kute or anything...then when i gained 25 lbs i'd still get hit on and i still don't think im kute...my boifren helps meh with my confidence and he actually believes in meh...hehe...i onoz...my self confidence is shot since my relatives call meh fat...my mom said..."jenny, when you were a little gurl you were so kute...what happened?"...haha...can you believe that..grr...

For a person to be overweight..and when they lost some pounds they have more of that "Yay, I'm happy with how I look" feeling..
UrbanPoet
umm.. those b4 and after are kinda BS... they make you look wayy hotter.

with the Tan. Angles and water retention and 1 day advance principles of diet and nutrition that they use to lower water retention and body fat for a day. sinmilar to what bodybuilders use.

20 lbs is more obvious.
but i think 10 pounds is enough to notice subtle changes...
something you can't put your finger on.

you already look good cali99boy, how much more muscle do you need?

There are lots of health and beauty magazines that can show you how a person transformed before and after losing weight.

Based on my experience, there was a time that i gained 10lbs and bloated. Its so disgusting when i looked at myself in front of the mirror... I looked older than my real age. Im thankful, that i able to make myself fit again... too much of an effort. biggrin.gif

And yes, exercise is the best way to lose or gain weight.
