What's the name of that Indian candy, it's white and has silver foil on it?

Are you talking about sugar ice or rock candy? I forgot the Indian name for it.

It's quite different from sweets from most other places I've been to. There's a lot of soft sweets like barfi or ladoo which tend to be like the pics in this thread. However, there's a lot of variety, with sweet noodles, milk based desserts (e.g. rasmalai), fried sweets and others all being common too.

It's not candy. It's a sweet.

I hate the ones with foil stuff on it. I like Laddoo, Jalebi, Rosogolla and those white powdery things you can get in Bengali/Bangladeshi stores.
