all i can think of is Mr. Kin(Kim is his real name) from volume 1 of the Samurai Champloo manga.

There seems to be quite a lot of chinese characters in anime and manga, like tenten from naruto soi foong from bleach blah blah but no korean characters, and korea is a neighbouring coutry, so i wanted to know if there were any.

The Japanese use a lot of Chinese characters in their everyday life.

I've never come across a Korean character in manga/anime, but in the Soul Calibur series there are 3 playable Korean characters - Hwang, Yunsung, and Seong Mina.

If you want Korean characters, read Manhwa.

I can't remember the names, but there are a couple of Korean characters in the later part of Hikaru no Go, when they went to Korea for the Go Tournament.
