Sherpa people
They are an ethnic group that lives in the most mountainous region of Nepal. The Sherpa are well known for their extraordinary ascents to Mount Everest, with some of them reaching its summit under 11 hours, which normally takes about a week for an average person to be reached. These incredible feats are explained by their exceptional genes that make them able to resist oxygen saturation with far less symptoms than others. An interesting question would be to know to what extent these genes were transmitted to other Asian ethnics(Mongoloids) if they ever were. Because Asian ethnics descend from people who crossed the Himalayas several centuries ago.
