My next trip will be to Phillipinnes. I like Phillipinos...they have music in blood...and peaceful people. Where are the easy going snorkeling areas? Thanks for your tips...

Boracay has good snorkelling area near Crocodile Island. But the best I've tried so far was at Balicasag Island in Bohol. So awesome it's like dipping in an aquarium filled with thousands of fishes and corals!

Snorkel... Malapascua in Cebu---> lots of blue corals

Boracay has lots of broken corals because the boatmen just anchor anywhere, they don't have a designated spot so lots of corals are destroyed in the process.

do they rent out gears? i'm assuming renting there is alot cheaper.

Boracay is yucky. The sewer mixes with beach water. Ugh! Disgusting and embarrassing!
