i know eh? all these women re really hot... dipanita sharma looks the hottest in my opinion..
most people like aishwarya rai. She got voted most beautiful miss world ever as well as most attractive person in the world last year. I think it was after her win that people in India started taking pageants seriously.
Namrata is also a Miss Asia-Pacific first runner-up in 1993 and a Miss Universe top 6.
Personally I think the India success started in 1990 with Suzanne Sabloak and Indians started taking pageants seriously with the victory of Sushmita Sen at Miss Universe.
I found it odd that even though Reita Faria won Miss World in the 60s, and India had a minor streak going in Miss Universe in the 1970s, pageant fever haven't gripped India until Sushmita's Miss Universe win. Aishwarya's victory was just an icing on the cake. Then again, they consider Miss Universe as the more prestigious pageant (it was only in 1995 that they started crowning multiple winners...but we still know that the lady who goes to Miss Universe is the unspoken TRUE winner of the pageant).
On a sad note, I heard that Nafisa Joseph, Miss India 1997, recently committed suicide! I hope it's not true...!

Um.. how do u know when someone belongs to high caste or lowcaste, u don't know what caste they are until they atleaste tell u their name or their caste!
There is no way of figuring out who belongs to whom, unless you know their name!

Easy. I use a simple rule. If a woman is ugly she could belong to any caste but if a woman is fair and beautiful she could only be from a high caste. It works all the time......in Malaysia.
I don't know abt malaysia, but here(india) anyone can be fair, there are very black brahmins and very very fair low castes. its harder to distinguish in india unless you know their name.
I do admit, they are really pretty, but compare to Korean, Viets or Chinese Celebrities..they are abit behind..hehe

That depends on your preference but Indian women have won more pageants worldwide and have faces I like more. Bigger sometimes lightcoloured eyes, Longer and higher noses, bigger eyelids and taller height. Indian celebrities also are very different looking from each other. Some have blue eyes some have brown eyes, some are whiteskinned and some are darkskinned. Some have sharp features and others have flatter features. Korean and chinese celebrities all look the same, no offense.
