I shouldn't say because 1) the outcome will turn out the opposite on purpose just because I said it and 2) if the kid ever runs into the comment and it's not the gender I said I preferred, they'll think I didn't want them or am some kind of gender meanie which isn't true. So to avoid gender bias, I'm trying to weigh the positives and negatives of each gender.

My fiance did a good job of hiding gender bias until now. It's starting to leak out.

I could'nt tell if mine was a boy or girl all the way thru the 9 months, but my DR said in early term that it looked like a girl but they were'nt sure because it was too soon to tell and then the rest of the 9 months, she would'nt open her legs for us to see if it was a girl, so I had to be ready for both a girl or a boy, but my neice thru me a Its a girl baby shower haha

And sure enough, its a girl=)

You can usually tell by what you crave the 1st month of pregnancy, if you crave more salty things like pickles and chips its a boy
If you crave fruit, its a girl
With my boy I craved pickles the first month I wanted to buy 2 big jars of pickles!Before I knew I was pregnant.
With the girl it was fruit, was eating a little more fruit than I usually eat.

I heard the Old Wives Tale about being able to tell by cravings. The only things I want to eat are healthy things. I don't really have a craving for anything in specific because I can't tolerate anything BUT that. Anything very sweet or salty sickens me. I just know I have a hard time eating candy, junk food, oily things, meats...basically anything other than grains, fruits, veggies (unseasoned or pickled).

i know sometime in the future it'd hit me because i'm not into any form of contraceptive.
the good thing is, i'm sure who the father is if it ever happens. we both have savings and stable jobs and i think he can be a good dad.

Yeah one of the scary parts is not knowing how your body will react to it, I took after my mom alot, maybe if you ask your mom just how sick she was and everything, maybe youll have an idea and ask the other woman in your family, they will help you have ideas of what to expect.

Only 12% I read is sick all the way thru the pregnacy most is the first 3 to 4 months.

oh i'm actually not worried about the physical discomforts i might experience...
first thing that comes to my mind everytime i get the preggy scare, is my maturity to raise a kid, then my partner's capability to be around and be supportive, and our financial stability. and all the rest just follow...

I think women just expect you to be sympathetic. Their/our bodies are going through a lot of changes, a lot feel some degree of sickness, mood swings come into play, so really all you can do is sympathize and try to help a little if something becomes difficult. I imagine guys will go through a lot mentally with all of the upcoming changes and then seeing the woman change so much and go through a lot of moodiness, it must be hard.

Just some fears here and there, nothing serious. So sympathize? I'm pretty good at that haha . Gotta go test it out now.

My honey had to listen to me when I have high risk pregnancies and I had to keep telling him to drive slow over the speed bumps, because I carry mine low and high risk of premature labour.

It ios worrysom sometimes, I need to vaccum more and I freak out everytime I see a small peice of lent on the floor and stuff like that.
Almost was in a car accident once and just balled my eyes out for like 5 mins after I parked of course lolz
makes you want to get out and beat the crap out of the crazy drivers, dont they care that there is a baby in the car?!

I'm really dizzy right now, but the problem is I'm not hungry. I'm on medication for 5 days that I just started taking and I think it's doing funny things to me.

^ dizzyness is part of it , alot of woman get dizzy, but Id talk to your DR
always be safe than sorry and sometimes, the DR or a nurse could tell you that everything is fine when you have a feeling its not and you could be right and they could be wronge, it's happened to me, I thought I was in labour and they gave me a swab test to see and said everything looks fine and sent me home, when in fact the test came up possitive and I lost my baby was born at 24 weeks, was in labour all day and bleed in my sleep.

Not to scare you but really be careful and pay attention to your body rite now.

The doc prescribed antibiotics for 5 days for an infection. This is the second day and it's doing some crazy things. There don't seem to be a lot of birth defects associated, but the side effects scare me.

I got the late night doritos. Wonder what the last call jalapeno peppers taste like.

It's a minor one. The side effects from the medicine are actually a lot worse than the infection.

i suggested beer because for someone reason, it regulates menstrual flow. i dunno if there are scientific explanations (there must be) or it's purely coincidental for me but it's worked for my and my friends
