right-wing interventions starting to become a problem

Japan has mildly stable political system. Democratic, Liberty and Freedom, if people in Japan desires them, then they still have ways to go before it becomes a true democracy like the west. Since post-war politicians were somehow given only a slap on the wrist, it didn't take long for them to take back prestigous positions they once belong.

Right-wingers have gotten more desperate lately, especially since bubble economy burst. Left wing politicians such as liberals and supporters of NDP and the such frequently receive negative and sometimes violent pressures by right-wingers. Nagasaki mayor was most likely assasinated by rightwingers because he did say to admit to WWII crimes.

And of course more and more pro-conservative bills are getting passed. I should stick to anime, rpgs, ps2, wii and the like I also would like to preserve my rights as a non-japanese and not wait until the flood comes to my door.

here are sources for you: (sources not necessarily historic, but modern problems that might bring back history to repeat)

Ironic while all this stuff is going behind closed doors of Edo Castle where politicians and bitter post-war generals are planning the demise of the world and nobody in Japan bothered to lift a finger.

Why doesn't Japan focus on medical, environmental, work-stress, human-rights, minority rights, and a stable constitution that can protect civilians as well as restricting and cutting the power of the so called SDF whos the 5th largest army with straight out of the Pentagon weapons makes you wonder if its defense. But the way politicians are hiding historic facts and brainwashing schools does make you wonder.

Then you have, the thought police, which should be disbanded but those who want power kept them.

Free speech is only limited to extreme nationalistic pro japanese rants, perferably scripted by Japanese spy agencies.

and look at this:

On and on there are tons of sources of Japanese resurgence of violent campaigns.

Besides wasn't there a while ago that the Japanese PM suggested ICBMs as defense?? Mad enough to start WWIII huh.
It does not matter if Japan wins or loses, even if one life is lost from it it is one to many simply for the satisfaction of the rich few's profits, its not worth even one life.

Looks like some others are understanding stability in such a fragile system is gonna burst one day. Honestly
Japan's very infrastructure and fundamental shintoists have done some real dirty stuff to anyone who thinks liberally.

While the western world is looking for better and brighter futures, Japan is still sulking with its past with vengeful thoughts of being defeated in WWII. Rebuilding arms, disembling the peace constitution, and putting extra laws to pressure visa students and immigrants to make them feel unwelcomed and unwanted. Hatred, nationalism, crime denial, racism, extremism is all on the rise, infact its skyrocketing. Just what is war and violence gonna solve??

Good question. War solves a lot of things. You may not like it but it's an extremely necessary form of action so long as we have lines and boundaries that divide us from each other and as long as we call and see ourselves and each other as Koreans, Chinese and Japanese (etc.) rather than Human Beings. It's a complicated situation.

in Japanese history after ww2, Most violence actions were done by the left-winger like red army.

I think Japan does not need two big political parties like USA

Japan is constitutional monarchy

LDP.........
dose japan need 2 big parties like USA?
Does the two-party system function well in japan where the spirit of harmony is a base of community society . ?
As for the world, we knew communist politics of which it was basic was equal symbiosis was not able to win liberal politics of which it was basic was a competing principle well.
How can society of rice farming group win it for the rat race which assumed mind of hunting a base(competition society)?
Politics doesn't function without the emperor's approval in japan
Japan is a country of an emperor family on the face of it.
The political party is a policy research group, and the existence for the
policy to compete.
The policy of the opposition party (Democratic Party) in Japan is not very
different from the ruling Liberal-Democratic Party.
The difference is made though the Democratic Party is the same policy as the
Liberal-Democratic Party.
If politician lives as an emperor family without forgetting appreciation to nature, the policy for the people is enforced........
All Diet members should cooperate jointly.
and they should not conflict.
Therefore, the opposition party to fight is not needed.
Japan have the emperor as a master of the race and the nation.
therefore ,Japan doesn't adjust the two-party system of which it is basic is the spirit of
the competition and the confrontation.
