What the hell's wrong with you?

The SSB games are pure awesomeness. I've never had as much fun playing a fighting game (or a multiplayer game in general) as I have playing SSB or SSBM.

Famitsu gave it 40/40, and only 6 games in the magazine's history have attained that score. Nintendo Power and Thunderbolt Games have also given it a perfect 10/10.

The main thing is.. Is it easy/simple to play?

if you neva play the game then pick up super smash bro 64... when you get good at n64 version.. then you good 2 go..

cuz ssbb gonna be like n64 version n not like melee..

melee was easy, not sure about brawl, since you use the wii system and i never played it before, but my friend is getting one

Hell yes. One of the most accessible fighting games ever, easy to just pick up and play. However, in the hands of experienced players, it can be damn technical and complex. They even hold tournaments for SSBM, and I'm assuming they will for SSBB.



You can still use the gamecube controller for SSBB, so vets won't feel like they're forced to adapt to new controllers.

I am thinking of buying freeloader for the wii and then importing it.

You can't wait 8 more days?

Ah, sorry. I forgot that that everywhere other than North America has a later release date. In that case import away.

I've played this game in Japanese version cause my friend has some sort of mod-chip on his wii that lets him play burned games. Anyway I can tell you that all of the fighters are OK and each are more or less balanced from the other, unlike in Melee. I really like using Pokemon Trainer cause its like having 18+ different moves from one character. Pit is pretty weak since he really can't knock other fighters off the stage. Pikachu is really slow and still have the same movies as before.

Of all new fighters in SSBB, I really like using Wario and Ike. Wario has a cool fart move, but he's slow and powerful. Ike is very well rounded but he can't really do jumps.

fu-k. I just bought it, and it doesn't fu-king WORK! And the Wii is modded...I definitely can't send it back to Nintendo. $hit.

it takes awhile to get used to but its pretty fun

Just got this game. fu-k man, is it just me or is Brawl slow as hell? Melee was MUCH faster.

The characters are more balanced and toned down in power, but yes they do move slower. I like the speed the characters are set in better than in Melee.

Just got the game today as well. Some of the characters do feel a bit slow (Seriously, why the hell is Samus so slow to descend from a jump? ), however I haven't really notice much of a difference with some of the older characters, like Marth. Feels just like Melee Marth, except his forward B move is way more faster and useful, and I like how i can now change the direction of the attack. Either way, I'm lovin' the hell outta this game right now.

I bought 4 gamecube controllers with the system and the game. It's great. The final smashes really puts a new twist on things. Solid Snake is really hard to use effectively in actual combat. Still haven't unlocked sonic yet.
