skullwrecker_13
i would say blood but we're of chinese heritage (cantonese speakers if anyone is interested, i can't speak, my mother can't speak but some of the elders can) so umm thai connection :

well i wasn't born there (brussels) but i don't feel like a foreigner there and my loyalties are to thailand (belgium is preety much a foreign country to me now and i'm not interested in obtaining UK citizenship or dying there).. i grew up in the UK and i'm technically a foreigner there anyway (although my accent and speech indicates i'm some kind of chav.... charlee can explain the word chav....)..i would like to die or at least be cremated in thailand

king - i don't run around shouting long live the king but alot of people notice i habitualy wear yellow on mondays (abroad too)

religion - therevada buddhist (not a very good one but still i do try... kinda hard if you're into nightclubs, booze, girls and the occasational fight..)

thai nationality/ ID

feel closers to thais than europeans (although you woudn't think it since i've got a highly developed sense of sarcasm and i tend to be harsh with my words [direct] and i'm much of smiler [unless you looks like one edison chen's concubines]

Nhoona

I was born and raise in Thailand, but my ancestors are from China. I'm the forth generation. I can't read, write, or speak Chinese anymore (my parents can understand some Teochew but can neither read nor write). A family on my father's side still have some distant relative in southern China, but we are rarely contact them.
So I think of Thailand as my home country and will always be.
aithong
Most of my relatives live in Isaan province of Mundaha and i have some that live in Bangkok.
HariNakornNgernYang
All of my family live in CR, some relatives in CM, Lamphun and Lampang but we dont keep contact much, they are to us and we are to them far distance relatives which we dont even know about them (wouldnt recognized on streets) but do know of their existing.
aithong
Most of the mine that live in Thailand i have never seen before either since they were born after i left Lao. Back when i was a kid our relatives used go back forth between lao and Thailand all the time to visit each other.

My father and his parents are pure Thai. My mother and her family are Chinese Thai. My mother's ancestor came from Fujian.
I was born and live in Phuket until university time that I have to study in Hatyai Songkhla.
I speak Sountern Thai language. I once studied Mandarin when I was in the primary school. But right now I forget how to speak it.
I can't speak Hokkien, but my mother and her parents can. They sometimes speak Hokkien to each other and I have no idea what they are speaking.

Dear, we don't call others mothers "itchy vaginal" even if your mother does have one. How is she ? How long does she have the infection ? If it is yeasts infection, it might be harder to treat, does your mother itch a lot ? Are there any yellowish smelly discharge coming out from her vaginal ? If it is ticks or pubic louse, normally known as crab it might be easier to just spray DDT onto her. Might hurts a little, but for infestation this might be the only way.

And if the area surrouding her vaginal have red spots, and if it spread to her gluteus maximus your mum might have HIV. Just common knowledge from studying Biology, dear.

I'm just concern for you, and be mindful about hygiene where you live, especially those..Ghetto areas.

i love thai curses, some are so clever. especially the "pra-chort" ones..... "you are teaching a crocodile to swim" i couldnt understand what he meant, actually it so similar to an irish phrase ( teaching athe devil to lie)
one of the reasons i like thai so much is it reminds me of my own native tongue, the descriptive language and the non-literal meanings.

i wont argue that english is the most expresive language , it just too literal and precise for me sometimes.
