So how many of you guys played through either the original PS1 MGS, or MGS: The Twin Snakes at a younger age when you were way too young to fully understand the story and the themes behind it??? I played it through it once exactly 4 years ago on 3/9/2004. Thought it was boring so didn't bother to take it off of my shelf again; I knew that the concept of genes was a major part of the story, but I was way too young to fathom the exact details of it. Today I was bored so I went through the whole games for the second time; and I must say, the themes behind the story are some good $hit. That's only if you're old or mature enough to comprehend them though.

yea i started MGS1 a few days ago, because i liked MGS2, and 3 and can`t wait for 4. so i thought i should play this one too. the game it excellent

MGS-1 for PS-1 or the MGS: The Twin Snakes for Gamecube??? I've never played the orginal PS-1 version, but remember to listen in and pay close attention to the story.

This guy, Hcloud13, has each and every single cutscene from every Metal Gear game. Just search through his posted videos pages and you'll find them all: MGS-1, MGS-2, MGS-3, and even the MGS-Acids. From his "Videos" pages 13-30, it's practically all Metal Gear videos. First 10 pages are Resident Evil vids because he uploaded those more recently than his Metal Gear vids.
