Really ? how come ? They've been there for more than 3 generations ? No they are Indonesian, I'm pretty sure .. my parents well .. work in those kind of departments for internationl trading .. so they know what people's country is selling what. They also asked for legal license to lands for logging industry in China, but its not possible because we are saving the forest now. You know how business work in China, we dont travel outside to find client, people come to China to do investing and trading not vice versa.
In the 1960s being a Chinese was 'illegal' in Indonesia as fear of communism. So they made laws that dictates, all Chinese should changed their name to Indonesian names, Chinese schools are ban, learning Chinese is illegal and all sort of discrimination etc...Thats why most Chinese-Indonesian could not speak Chinese, however since about 7-8 years ago those bans were lifted and the new generation of Chinese Indonesian now could learn about their culture and language.

Illegal ? Really ? No I dont know about the 'illegal' part but they are selling huge quantities of logs, I just figured that with such quantity there must be a huge replantation effort to balance things out.
Ummm you do not know, those logs are illegal ?? most of them are...especially when it comes from Borneo.
If I may, where do you live ?? and how old are you ?
