My grandmother is scared of japan even though she doesn't hate them she was terrified when my aunty told her to come with her to japan to visit and she was like full on afraid of the emperor or something.

^ I suppose people do have fears. Perhaps she had bad experience with some Japanese gangs. Eg got rob in the streets by Japanese..ect.

Reminds me of my friends' grandmother, who has a hatred towards Mexicans. She was pretty bad though, because when she was in Puerto Rico, she kept saying "Damn Mexicans are everywhere!"
