North Korea ain't half as bad as they say it is. Most places are open for Chinese tourists and they say the hotels in Pyongyang are pretty good.
And trust me, South Korea is far worse than just eating MacDonalds. I mean it's pretty hard to munch on that big mac when you got something else that's American in your mouth, if you know what I mean.

Ah, yes, the pass-the-blame game. It's hilarious how the Chinese can actually accuse the Koreans of "bashing" other Asians when they do the exact same, if not worse.
And, of course, that's not to mention that Western culture is slowly but surely creeping into China, although it seems that the idiots are unaware of that fact. It must be quite shameful to look at McDonalds, Burger King, Starbucks and other bunch of Western fast-food restraurants being set up in China to the point where they start to pretend that they don't exist there at all. I'm pretty sure that the mystery meat from McDonalds is much safer than the rat meat that the Chinese meat stores love to leave hanging out in front of their shops to dry and attract all sorts of insects.
And, of course, that's not to mention that Western culture is slowly but surely creeping into China, although it seems that the idiots are unaware of that fact. Actually Chinese eats more mcdonalds than Koreans, McDonalds in Korea is not even popular and they only have few stores because they couldn't compete against to local burgers.

I don't hate North Korean people. McDonalds isn't a good influence for South Korea (or America for that matter). It's food is unhealthy and it destoys traditional culture. It should be confined to tourist districts in South Korea. Western minds? Well, that's freedom.
South Korea doesn't want to be like North Korea. Also, It also doesn't want to be an American puppet. It wants to be similar to France under De Gaulle.
I'd like to see a different culture in South Korea. I can see the west at home. But it's nice to see a little foreign influence because it shows the people are friendly to foreigners. But I don't want to see it everywhere. Likewise I don't want to see Wal Mart or Target everywhere in America.

They've actually lived there so I shall take their opinion more highly than those who have had guided tourns in Pyongyang.
Also, every humanitarian NGO on the planet verifies these facts. That North Korea is a third world dictatorship is hardly a shocking statement.
