But my photos are Prince of Songkla university students. My university is located in the south, so it's easier to find dark skin people here.

Lao people are quite aware of the many ethnic groups living in Thailand that make up the Thai population. That's why I don't think Nhoona should have brought Lao people into this discussion. I've seen Thai people who look Chinese, others look Laotian, and still more look Khmer, etc...there's no surprise here.

Similarly, I've seen Cambodians who look Chinese or Vietnamese....and Lao people who look Indian or Khmer, whereas others look Chinese or Vietnamese. Asian is Asian regardless of one's ethnicity or nationality.

How do you know Nhoona ? Do you know them ? What about these Siamese soldiers , they are not ethnic chinese like you . These are the Siamese soldiers that came to the lao territory in 1891 . They are dark and not lao Nhoona .

1891? the year that lao was under Siam rule right? thats about 120 years ago before the concept of nation leage. and before huge migration of chinese and indian come to Thailand. i tell you this way Thai people especially of central Thai are the Siamese who are the ruler back then and majority of mixed people are of this Siamese and Chinese Indian and Persian and... Chinese is the most mixed and most in number. All make up the people of many central thai people especially Bangkokian. They are all Siamese untill the country name was changed to Thailand 70 years ago. And all are called Thai people. easy to understand right?

Then when some khmer person post picture of a Siamese that is not part White , Japanese , or Chinese you got offended and saying that they are either lao or khmer . You can't accept the fact that Siamese are dark skin people without the mix of Chinese , Japanese or white .

HAHA Nhoona thinks that most Lao people are dark-skinned? She's probably never ever been to Laos. Other people also think that Thai people are dark-skinned. Thai people come in all shades and the same applies to Lao people. My relatives and I are light-skinned because we're from northern/central Laos. The Thais I'm friends with in the U.S. don't look anything like the Chinese-Thai celebs. They're dark, whereas most of my Lao friends are light-skinned. However, my sister's Thai friends are light-skinned Chinese Thais who are in their 40's. This goes to show that Lao/Thai people come in all shades.

There you go again pointing your finger at Issan people. Whatever ethnicity they are, they're still Thai just like how you are also Thai. So you're telling me Chinese Thais aren't involved in the Thai tourism industry? Thai people are Thai people....I don't care what ethnicity you are.

When you mention Lao people, the first thing that always comes to mind is Laos. That's the mother country for all Lao people. If you want to talk about Thai nationals who are of Lao ethnicity, then you need to make that very clear. Because when you say most Lao people, everyone in their right mind would be thinking of Laotians living in Laos because the ones in Thailand are Thai nationals. The world does not revolve around your country, Nhoona.

Don't compare Thai people to Lao people. We have our own country, standards, and perceptions.

See, that's the problem with Thai people. I don't mean to generalize, but it's this notion of Issan being "less Thai" than the Central Thai or Bangkok Thai that bothers me. By viewing Issan in a certain way, it shows you that Thai people from Bangkok can't accept Issan people as "Thai", despite Issan people being Thai citizens.

Why the double standard? You know what, Nhoona, Lao and Khmer people have the right the land more so than any ethnic Chinese-Thai. They are Thai citizens and should be treated with the same amount of respect like any other Thai citizen, regardless of ethnicity.

Yes, these Laotian-Americans have an education and are exposed to various cultures and people that make up the American culture and population. Unlike some of you guys in Thailand, who can't seem to understand the concept of nationality and are just trying to make a buck by trying to promote the misconception that all Thais look like Chinese-Thais. It's obvious that some of you are trying to take over Thailand. I don't have anything against Chinese people as a whole, but some of the ones in central Thailand who are cluless are very annoying.

Reality check, you guys are all Thai nationals. Have some class and stop trying to separate your people from one another. Isn't unification the concept that your government has been promoting? Doesn't your government bombard you with the notion that you guys are all Thai regardless of your ethnicity? Tell your government that they need to air your national anthem at least 10 times a day because it's obviously not getting through your thick skulls. Once or twice a day is apparently not enough. Besides, you guys are all Asian anyway. Learn to respect the many ethnic groups of Asia and definitely LEARN your national anthem in Thailand.

The reason why I posted regular Thai pics is because the Thai members on here only post pics of the Chinese-Thai or half farang thais and not the Malay-Thai, Khmer-Thai and/or Lao/Thai. It seems like they want us non-thais to believe that Chinese is what all Thais look like. Lmao. I just dont buy it. And yes that is a direct hit to Nhoona and any Thai members who are biased. If you go on Khmer chat or Lao chat we post pics of everyday people all the time but why do you Thai members only post pics of celebs and models all the time to represent your country/people. If it is not celebrities or models Nhoona and other members likes to post pics of everyday chinese-thai to represent Thailand. To me that is and obvious bias on her part.

Nhoona I'm a regular at the whore house of Thailand so I should know better than you on this . I order prostitutes like I order pizza from a parlor . I ordered them to go . I been to PatPong , Nana , Sukhumvit , Pak nam and even the small shop in Don muang where all the ugly girls are lolzzzz.

When ever I feel lazy to speak Siamese I speak lao to the hoes . Alot of them can not understand lao cause they are Siamese . Not all Galee are of Lao ethnicity. If I was in Chieng mai or Issan I speak lao . When I speak Thai to those people in Chieng mai then turn to speak lao to my friend . They look like they will spit in my food at a restaurant . I learn that lesson of never to speak Thai to a Kham muang person especially when my lao dialect is almost the same as theirs.

OK, i will post regular Lao girls, one girl is dark skin other Lao girl is Light skin. so u can compare.

The light skin Lao girl is as pretty or prettier then most if not all Thai model or actress in thailand, she is just regular Lao girl in Laos: She is 100% Lao ethnic girl, no chinese mix, no farang mix, Pure Lao.

They are Regular typical Lao girls and how they look like, Not Chinese(lao), Not Farangmix(lao), Not mixed at all, Pure ethnic Lao.

Thats the typical looks of khon Viengchan Manleaow . You can see their bone structure is the bone struction of Tai Viengchan . Manleow , only from Viengchan up that most people are light skin . IF you go down to south they become dark because they are mix with Khamen people . Even the people in northern laos , almost all of them are born light but once they start hitting that rice field their @$$ be cooked black . It doesn't take long to get light back though , only a week or two a person can change back to their own color.

IF you compare the lao in the US that doesn't have to be in the sun , most of us are light skin . Thats why you think all lao people are light skin.

People got to stop messing with the Thai on topics like this . If they gonn post pictures of famous people let them . Your not gonna find alot of pictures o guly and poor people online . That just looks really bad, don't make assumptions.
