what is the best solution to fixing noise that the CV joint is making. replace it or keep driving it. Its expensive to replace it but if i keep driving it will it cause harm to my vehicle. Anyone with knowledge of this please let me know thanks.

no one have any ideas at all?

replace it asap. either the grease is gone and the joints bout to go anytime. you dun want that to happen.

It happened to my old car, luckily i was going slow and nobody around when it finally broke. It's not a laughing matter, you have to replace it.

Are you driving this car in Japan then? If so, you can possibly baby a fwd car with stuffed CVs if you're careful to not apply the accelerator unless your wheels are pointing in a straight line. This goes for the brakes too, for opposing forces will indirectly put pressure on the cv bearings. So go really gently with the foot pedals, and especially around corners. Brake in a straight line and let the car coast around the corner, and don't hit the gas until you're pointing in a straight line again, and then be very gentle, until you can find the time to replace the CVs.

If you're not driving this car in Japan, then you've probably posted the thread in the wrong forum, and it would have received more responses in the Car Chat section. beerchug.gif
