The reality is, you're still not one of their people and never will be, culturally yes, but never as their own people. The reality is you're country is located in Southeast Asia. Let's see how things turn out if you Vietnamese come up with a devise that can "relocate" all of Vietnam and move it to East Asia, like next to Taiwan or something. Do you think the Chinese will be so open to helping you as your Southeast Asian neighbors have for thousands of years? No. In the long run, their only interest is helping out their OWN people and you know that!
Cambodia or the Khmer people for thousands of years have always been "selfless" and "giving" towards their neighbors and friends and all you can do is acknowledge your arrogance simply by implementing the "few tricks the Chinese taught you" to belittle your giving neighbors? Pathetic and truly sad!

It's obvious because Vietnamese weren't Chinese before the Han coming down and dominate North Vietnam. While I don't support Vietnamese being under MK, I also rejected Vietnamese being under Sino-Tibetan.
And what is all that talk with Vietnamese and Chinese? They are two different people and only a stupid Khmer troll would associate Vietnamese with Chinese. He was the only one who called Vietnamese people "Southern Chinese", saying the two looked exactly alike with chinesey eyes, ugly yellow skin etc. I responded by pointing out that there are differences between Vietnamese and Cantonese
