Which one is the cheapest, if you don't mind me asking?

Out of the two I mentioned, China Airlines. EVA Air can have some pretty good prices, but you have to catch them during low seasons. Asiana Airlines and Korean Airlines of Korea is the cheapest by far.

Thank you very much and I am sorry for hunting for the bargain basement, but I will keep these names you suggest in mind for the future.

I'm no longer as rich as I used to be.

Emirates still flies to MNL, it's one of the Middle Eastern airlines that link Europe with Manila

Remember to go to a travel agent when purchasing, not on-line. Filipino or other Asian travel agents will give you among the best deals.

from Australia to Philippines i went with Philippines Airlines, Quantas and Cathay Pacific.
Philippines Airlines - dodgy flight attendants which slacked off!
Quantas - nice and alright food.
Cathy Pacific - best one out of the three

Philippine Airlines or China Airlines

Philippine Airlines stewardesses have a pompous attitude and act as if they don't want to be there at all serving their fellow Filipinos yet they play up to anyone with white complexion like themselves.
krayzii
philippine airlines and singapore airlines

cathay pacific is my favorite, especially with the connection flight from hong kong. very lovely stewardess.

PAL can be expensive, yet it has good memories for me. I flew on PAL when going to Vietnam and no bad experiences at all. For me, my all time favorite is China Airlines, since I flew on CAL when returning to the Phil. for the first time in 23 years. Good service, beautiful stewardesses, good food(they feed you three times on your trans Pacific flight), nice choice on the AVOD. Second choice would be EVA Air.

Cathay and Singapore Air are both excellent.
Torete_ako_sa_yo
Cathay, Singapore Airlines, or PAL. PAL has favoritism in Ninoy Aquino, so I try to fly PAL as much as possible.

I heard that there are some Filipina stewardesses on board Cathay flights and could also speak Cantonese. No doubt Cathay has some good service too.

any airline will do....
