What is the future of Filipino nationalism, are any of you nationalists, and how do we spread it?
I am not interested in talking $hit about our country, there are enough groups, or just the usual comments oh it cant be done, Filipinos dont want it, there is no such thing....Ya ya ya heard all that before. No what I want is a discussion on nationalism, and the promotion of the national state.

Be it expanding into other terretories that belong to us, about national heroes, movies anything good about our nation.

IF anyone is interested.

I am sick of all the self hating Filipinos that have to be negative on anything and any one who loves the Philippines, i espically love when they get really riled up and say "HEy I love the Philippines, BUT...." always a but. no more. tell it to someone else.

I jsut see a lot of b!tching and complaining, well lets talk about the national state, how much we love the Philippines and love Filipinos, and what is great about the country. Big things, small things, stupid things....just anything.

Hmm...I actually like Jeepneys. Ya i know but whatever. They are fun, over crowded and stink. But $hit they are ours and no one elses. So ya whatever it is what makes our nation unique. Hey if they could be more enviromentally clean they are amazing way to cut down on traffic, take the cars off. Much nicer then a bus....but then hey thats me lol.

So whatever this is just talking about anything in a nationalist way that makes our nation better, and that is positive.

The Philippines is the greatest nation on earth, its just resting waiting for a glorious rebirth, it is up to us to reshape the future. Hey politics is a way of life, just not all of my life.

The problem with Filipino nationalism is it is actuallt TAGALOG nationalism. If one prefers to stick to his regional culture, he is regionalistic. If one sticks to the Tagalog culture, he is nationalistic.

The Philippines is a Tagalog colony.

Ang uh, amangbayan is just too weird and paternalistic. Inangbayan is the more frequently used term. You American wannabee. Am's call their country fatherland in contrast to motherland

whats the point when you only have a handful people that can understand why nationalism is important.

let Philippines die it just an empty shell of its former self with half drawn strings.

BTW: leave Sabah alone, it does not belong to any f/Filipinos...understand?

You just don't realize that nationalism in the philippine sis merely Tagalism. Again, why aren't the non-Tagalogs allowed to sing the national anthem in their respective vernacular?

I wonder if you even understood what you said
