hmmm.. she belongs to the central miao or Qiangdongnan.
there is one group in Guizhou that wear these kind of headdress...
i believe it represents horns. cow and buffalo horns are very important
symbols found in the miao/hmong culture.

This is a nice video, but I see a "trend" with them-- you tend to feature the Hmu a lot more in your videos rather than your own Hmong.

actually the hmu are only a little part of it... the majority are the guizhou miao, yunnan miao and then hunan miao who are just the one wearing blue and a big turban headdress. i couldn't find any good pictures of the yunnan miao but if i can download this one song online then maybe i should make one about the yunnan, vietnam, lao and thailand hmong. thank again.
