You know I think the revolutionary party was fixing the elections too carelessly and blatantly but the elections were 80-90% fair just like any other democracy. The democratic party went way too damn far, do a recount it will end up at the most 2 seats different, Elbegdorj is more corrupt than almost any other politician.

The democratic party riot should be investigated for treason and external political influences. I just don't understand why even the minority of Mongolians want to privatize the mining sectors. Do they really think Mongolians will own the company or if it is actually owned by a Mgl company they will think in the interest of the public? sounds hilarious

I hope Elbegdorj is sent to exile in Ovor Mongol, he can smile and con people there, most of what he says to the public is nice to hear but its all bs anyways. I thought everyone had already heard him say Mongolchuudig luiverdie or similar when he thought his mic was off.

The revolutionary party is just as $hit too but at least they say the people/Mongolia should control our wealth not the top 2% and foreigners like IVN Boroo, or TuulJinpan.. they will eat their share but not in our faces like Democratic P.

The revolutionary party just set out the bait and Democratic took it and started the riot go watch Mongolian National Broadcast. You can see the Demo guy saying we are gonna raid the Revolutionary building to the protesters. Maybe they were in it together but I doubt it, the only person who wins from this is the President not the PM.

OOooooO political turmoil is so sad for our Mongolia right now, lets not become like those dirty Arabs.

I heard this riot in Qingdao and felt sad for people who get hurt in the political struggle!
Freedom and dictatorship are mixed in Mongolia.
The economy can be freed, but thought and behaviour can't be freed to some extent. Freedom is paramount for people, but excessive freedom will cause big troubles in governmental function, and in the case of running a country.
For example, Hujiaa invades Mongolia, two parties can't reach an agreement on how to kick invaders out, one party insists that we will bloodily guard Ulannbaatar until last man, another party want to withdraw from capital and eliminate alll invaders in the vast grassland and outskirt of UB! Finally, when Hujiaa army besiges UB, they even can't make an agreement.
I think Mongolia should elect an effective Government who is responisble for it's people and can bring it's majority out of poverty line. Selling it's natural resources is a temporary make$hift, rather than a permenant national strategy. Mongolia must have it's own industrial system in which Mongolian, at least, can build it's own powerful weapons to protect itself from been invaded or conquered by Russia and China.
Nowadays, Russia is standing up after 18 years sleep (the break down of Soviet Union). During the Olympic games, Russia invaded Geogia, it's a stark sign of revive of Russia Empire. China seems to become stronger every day, but Mongolian brothers don't worry about it, because there are many hard proplems in China, such corruption, the huge gap between poor and rich, Tibet , Taiwan and Eastern Turkistan, and hugh crime rate. As a result, if China wants to do some something on Mongolia, it have to solve all problems in itself.
