Weren't they just normal plastic bags with straws. Haha, I missed them.
What prayer? I'm never home at 3 in the afternoon. I come to school everyday at 7 AM and come home at 6 PM

I use the jeep as transportation, but when it's full, I call in a kalesa to bring me home (unfortunately, the horse pissed right in the middle of my neighborhood

) Man, schools in the Phils are hard on their students. We occasionally have to attend school even on Saturdays.

Hell yes! I remember those. Man, that takes me back. I still don't get why people would never buy them in bottles. Were they reused/recycled or something?
redhotchili
Aug 15 2005, 11:39 PM
Coz you were supposed to return the bottles. BUt some don't do that-------> too lazy

Aug 15 2005, 11:44 PM
Yeah, I noticed that they'd always ship the Bottles full to the corner stores and the same truck would take the empty bottles back. Never in my life have I ever drank from the bottle. =/
Any provincial people remember getting your water delivered to you by huge tanker trucks? I wonder if this only happens in Rual Philippines or if it's done in other countries as well.

I live in an urban area and yeah, water's also delivered to some houses here. There are subdivisions/areas where there's absolutely no water flowing from the tap so it has to be delivered. So pathetic, eh?

Aug 15 2005, 11:53 PM
The government should really invest in rural/urban water irrigation/transport alongside sewage systems instead of having resevoirs for each individual house.

I wouldn't call it pathetic per se since we are still developing as a nation, but this issue should be addressed rather than ignored, among other things that need revamping.

2. you're invited to a party yet you bring friends that the host doesnt know YET. hehe you still have to introduce them then the party goes on!!
3. you can't advertise your product by comparing it to another brand in front of the camera, you have to blur their product name first (ex. laundry powders, cleansers, etc.)

ummm like the young kids always give obeiscance to the elderly in the form of nopping or touching the hands of the elderly with the use of the forehead. In thai we dont do that but we nopp (bow w/hands clasped together and in front of the chest..then bow). I noticed that filipino young give obeiscance to their parents or grandparents regularly. Nice thing to see. Very asian.
