I dont like the PAD's tactics because they did more harm than good for the your country's image and at the same time they made Thaksin look good. Coruptions have always been part of Thai politics even before thaksin came into power but now you have two opposing forces that are fighting for the big prize. I will not disagree that Thaksin was corupt but he did enough to keep the majority of the people happy so he could continue with his own agenda similiar to what we have here the US as well. If the Democrats can find a way to bring people together then i guess they deserve to be in power but then again if you have the same people in power for along time, you'll end up with coruptions again. I'm also concerned with PAD's idea of having 70% PMs appointed rather elected because these people will not have to worry about responding to voters needs and they will still be in office which will not do much good for Thailand to make progress.

Another thing i want to add too is that this new government need to have everybody from the police, military and parliament behind them not fragmented like in the past. I know some Thai members may think it's a great that you can keep overthrowing a government by using the military but they fail to realize that they need to have stable government in order for your country to solve real important issues like the economy or education. Everytime you guys do that you lose the confidence foreign companies that are trying to do business with you. If your economy is no good then you're gonna lag behind other SEA countries like Vietnam and Malaysia. Take a look at China with their booming economy, they are now becoming almost a superpower rivaling that of the US.

That's true, I agree with you that the PADs methods are sometimes not justified and that taking over the airport is a little extreeme but I'm not sure I agree with the government supporters since the government is so corrupt nowadays. I mean I know the government has always been corrupt but the corruption is growing faster than ever. That is also true about what you said that we need a stable government but we can't really do that because every new government that is set up will be corrupt. From my viewpoint I think Thailand will never truly have a stable government. I just hope the condition gets better and that the global markets are restored to normal.
