I've been snooping around this forum for around.. 3 days?

Every time I go into a Korean thread, one of you guys have posted an idiotic, racist remark. I am fully Cantonese.

You two keep saying how the Chinese are immature, and how you guys are the superior towards other Asian cultures? All I see is two little immature babies whining about how the Chinese aren't as good as the Koreans. The last time I checked, your dictator is a crazy old man, playing a game of "threaten the world with nuclear weapons". Has he brainwashed you? There is no difference in culture, or race. If anyone is racist towards their own race, then I see no reason they should be alive.

I live in New York, United States, and. I hate the Government here, but seeing that thread about how Hancock was an anti-Korean movie, I personally believe you guys have nothing better to do, then watch a film, and say "Hey! They're making fun of us!" Who gives a fu.ck? I get it, it was wrong, but sometimes you have to suck it up and live with it. Either that, or you do something about it.

Another thing. Why the fu-k do you guys keep calling us "chinamen"? What's wrong with being Chinese? The last time I checked, we are on the same continent as Koreans.

They are probably still fuming over the Olympic torch incident. What they don't realize is that their attitudes contributed to the current Chinese-Korean rivalry in modern days. Not all Chinese and Koreans hate each others. It's just those guys who have no social lives use nationalism and racism to vent out their own hidden anger and frustrations

Its funny how you pick those 2. But you dont mention anything about the trolls that constantly start sh!t in this section. I drop the N-bomb once and I get warned in another section. But all the anti korean trolls here seemed to be favored by the admins here.

^They are not anti-Korean trolls but just calling out those Koreans Mongolians and Turks who use foul language against Chinese on a forum owned by a Chinese-American (how ironic?). You have the right to anti-Chinese feelings and racism, but freedom of speech can only go so far sometimes.

You shouldn't pick on the Korean's so much. Throughout our millenniums of co-existence, they have never done anything overtly antagonistic to us.

I personally feel bad for them, when I look at the korean peninsula on a map, I see China, Russia, USA, and Japan playing a geopolitical game of tug of war. I'm sure they know it too...

I agree with the OP. I haven't been on these forums for too long, but I noticed that JinHua is a major bigot. He calls everyone a "Chinaman" regardless if they are nationalistic or not.

JinHa, get a clue. "Chinaman" is a racist term invented by white men to dehumanize Chinese people and Asians at large. When one Asian person uses a slur like this, you are just reinforcing white racism. Why don't you come up with derogatory term that the white man didn't invent? Also, with Asian slurs, it can apply to any Asian race. Remember Vincent Chin? He was called a "J@P" before he was killed. Perpetuating ANY racial slur created by white people is terrible. Would you feel any less bad if some white boy called you a "Chinaman"? I know I would be just as pissed if some white boy called me "J@P" or "g@@k".

If I called a Korean person a "g@@k", then I am doing the same thing - reinforcing white racism. However, if I were to call a Korean person something like "Cockrean", it would still be offensive, but at lease it's not a term created by white people. Not that I would condone the two.

On a final note, I would echo OP and say that the vast majority of Koreans I've met have been very cool, honest, and honorable people. It's tempting to give in to give in to throwing bigoted stereotypes around when confronted by someone like JinHa, but dang it, I'm not going to do it because I've know far, far, too many great Korean people.
