Well i'm interested in applying for a a company that is a "market research consultancy conducting qualitative and quantitative research in the pharmaceutical sector"
I have a masters degree related to health statistics and research. Do you think it's worth applying? The slight thing that I am concerned about is probably the ethics of the clients i'd have to work with. I enjoy doing research and I don't mind helping with the promotion of products that really are beneficial but I will feel bad if I know the product isn't good.
Am I wrong to think that? Since a part of marketing is also to get the product to meet the needs of consumers..
Marketing is a tool. A tool in the hands of an ethical person is ethical, but a tool in an evil person is evil. To be a successful entrepreneur often enough one will have to be strong, ruthless, wise, and they will have to step on others to succeed. Some people will play the game fair, others will backstab. That is always the case in the business world.
To develop a good marketing plan, the fundamental thing is that you got to believe in your company and your product. If you can't even get that right, then I guarantee that you will fail. If you feel that their products or the company is not worth your effort, then you should not bother. However, my advice is do not be afraid to try.
