yeah, and its plot is rather different from most manga. The images as well as characters' clothing are very normal not like super long hair and model-like body

The reason for that might be because he was mainly created for very young children instead of teens+. Still, I loved the art and read a lot of the manga when I was little.

i used to have a ton of cassette tapes of xiao ding dang. it was pretty much my sesame street.

yeah i used to wait for every Friday for the new episode.
It was all my dreams whenever i got into any trouble, i had the childish wish of doraemon's presence
