i don't think you need a lao person who needs to stand up for lao chat to do that. i think mods here could easily defuse these kinds of topics before they get blown out of proportion. no smoke, no fire.

moderators can only do so much, but it's mainly up to the members who report any offensive posts/topics and don't contribute to being offensive themselves and you wouldn't have these such conflict between various nation-states.
