Its funny how u spell the word Farang with a R. I thought Lao people replace the R with a L?
Thai = Farang
Lao = Falang
Khmer: Parang
Thai = Farang

It's either R or L...but nowadays it's more typical for Laotians to spell it with an L.
Farang is the spelling you would use to match the original Lao script (pre-1970). Just take a look at Luang Prabang...there's still an R in there, but the other variant is Luang Phabang.
In Khmer it's Barang.
