I've found a couple quotes by Master Jin Kwon that I would like to see translated to Korean script...but am having the damndest time doing so myself! I've tried several transation websites that will translate E to K, but when I try to translate K to E I get something different. Very Frustrating!
"We seek excellence, by constant trial and error."
and...
"Positive or negative energy is exchanged like a fair trade; the more you give the more you receive."
I plan to get one or both of these tattooed on my forearm, as they reflect the turns my life has taken over the past few years. Perhaps backstory is in order...I almost married a Korean girl after dating for 3 years. When we broke up, I (like a sucker) allowed her to live in my home and paid her rent while she embarked on single life. I did this because I truely believed the good karma I was putting out would be returned to me eventually, which it has. Not that I would recommend that path to anyone, but I has worked out well for me.
These tats will be a constant reminder how I try to live my life, while reminding me of a time in my life that was (for better or worse) very influential.
I understand I am taking a risk asking for your help, since I don't read Korean to save my life. Yes, you could mess with me and give me a false translation, but hopefully someone would would come to my aid and tell me it's incorrect...
...right?
