Hi, i will be staying in Hotel New Star Ikebukuro. Since i have intentions of visiting Hakone and try the Onsen, what would be the best way to do a day trip ??? Will my hotel arrange it for me?? If not, what else?

From ikebukuro, take the yamanote line towards shinagawa. Get off in shinagawa, then transfer on either the kiekyu line or the Yokosuka Sobu line towards Yokohama. From yokohama transfer to the JR line that goes towards Odawara. Once you get off at Odawara, depending on where you're going, the Odakyu railways and the Hakone Tozan Railway will take you to almost anywhere in the Hakone area. It's a beautiful place, wish I got to see more of it before I left. The lakes are quite a view, the atmosphere is simply amazing.
