Anyone know any nice areas to a buy a house in Manila?

We had a house in Quezon city but sold it few years ago, plus the area is not good anymore compare to before.

Where's the best place to live in Manila? I prefer the capital as I have access to the rest of the Philippines. Anyone?

Manila is $hit, my advice is to build a house somewhere else and just buy a condo in manila.

Actually that's a good suggestion, but surely there's still some nice areas in Manila or Quezon City and other neighboring cities.

Laguna [south] and Antipolo [north] are good places. Not developed enough so it's less polluted. The downside: it's far from the capital and with the kind of traffic we have, it will take you hours and hours to reach it.

Hi redhorse, yup there's still a lot of good place to live in Metro Manila area am sure. Would you mind browsing this site to see some residential projects in an around Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Actually, ive visited one residential project in Palm Coast Marina along Manila Bay, its a quite/solemn place to live but i think its 5 km away from Mall of Asia..so its not far away from urban life...Dolphy and Zsa Zsa's house is right in that place. There's also a Sta. Lucia Realty residential projects in Tandang Sora, Quezon City..its also a nice place..

Yeah sir not sure if really have similarity but their are houses that are quite mansionese style also and its a quite place. I just dont know if will change when the Pagcor Tourism City will be completed nearby but am sure the price will skyrocket in the future because of the location....

real estate investment is my thing....the best place to buy a house in the phil. would be @ fairview cause the prices are reasonable and most of the houses is in a gated community....i live in chicago but i have couple of houses back home and if your looking for a vacation home.i would recommend cebu or batangas if you wanna be close to manila.....im actually in a process of buying a rest house @ cebu.
