In Pinoy culture, it ain't cool to show up on time. Party's at 8, but it don't start 'til 10 or something like that.

Maybe it's 'cause I grew in America, but I think it's disrespectful to show up or start late.

it's slowly changing over there in my place, i don't know in other places but in social gatherings, it's still the same, you have to be fashionably late. icon_sad.gif

With that said, I think I know now what leads to my tendency to procrastinate.

If it weren't for my dad, my family would be another bunch of Filipino Time Filipinos. When we're late, he starts fretting. lol I've learned from him to be on time... most of the time. laugh.gif
