That's cool. I read that when the Lao government built the statue of Chao Fa Ngum a couple years back , the Thai government officals or whatever got pissed and started talking $hit about the Lao government trying to "assert their power" or some crap like that.
Chao Fa Ngum in a way was like Ghegnis Khan of the Mongols. He wasn't blood thristy and cruel like Ghengis Khan, but he united our people into one powerful kingdom. It takes a great leader to acheive that kind of feat.
