well of course...all asians have a slant to their eyes and asian eyes are smaller compared to non-asians....its one of the many qualities that make asian ppl asian. its the biggest and most defining physical trait of asian people.

Its the truth, in fact its how Khmers historically differentiate themselves from Chinese and Vietnamese people. Speaking generally, Khmer people are darker, have larger rounder eyes and fuller lips, broader noses. Its just how it is.

Tav6 and several Khmer members here also made that comment that some of them didn't look Khmer.

About Vietnamese, I think we all know that Viet people have medium-sized almond shape eyes, not small like Japanese/Korean but not big like Malay/Khmer neither. There are tons of them here, regular teenagers as well as celebrities. You can check to verify.

I don't know about you guys, but like I said millions of times... most of my life all I ever encountered 70% of the time in the USA are the darker complexion Khmers most of the time... Don't know why it's like that but it's a much smaller population of lighter complexion Khmers here in the USA. Don't get me wrong I know tons of lighter complexion to medium tone complexion Khmers also, but not as much as the darker ones. I used to dig the light complexion look when I was in my teen years and such, but that has ended now after observing how nice, thick, and fine the dark ones are now lol.

P.S. I still don't think those Khmer girls look Khmer enough to me... I know there's no such thing as one exact look at all, but the majority of Khmers I have seen in the states are mainly darker complexion. Honestly to tell you the truth those girls look more Lao to me then Khmer, it's all just observations.

in a photo, facial pictures tend to look lighter, just the way it is. if you want to look white, stay in the house all day and every day and anyone will achieve this goal. Also it depend on which part of the world you live in too and if you're outside a lots too facing the sun ray.

Maybe because you assume the lighter skinned Khmers are of another ethnicity. For example, my two Khmer friends, one is very light and one is very dark with full lips... People would always assume that the light one is either half chinese or not Khmer at all, when in reality, she is full Khmer supposedly... Her brothers and sisters are darker, she just came out light.

My friend who is dark... people can tell that she's Khmer right off the bat... but then I found out that her mother was only half Khmer and Vietnamese and her father is Chinese. And dang, she turned out "angkorian" khmer looking.

What do you mean Angkorian Khmer looking ? What does an Angkorian Khmer look like ? Other then that my mom is light complexion, my little brother is light complexion, my little sister is light complexion... as for everybody in our family we are dark and it's because we are mixed. I personally know I am mixed because my mom's grandparents migrated from China due to war and she leans more towards the Chun beliefs and religion. I don't know too much information about this issue, but I may have to ask Goombaking about the Teochiu Chun who migrated into Cambodia. I wouldn't call my mom directly Chun, but more like Chun-Khmer in Srok Khmer along with my dad just being Khmer.
