no not really. well maybe egot/egoy. its best to call them ITIM. and instik is not derogatory at all. its in our tagalog vocabulary. but the word "chekwa" is definitely racist. so are the words "5-6" (deeply racist). i hate that term.

Egot does sound harsh when said while intsik could instantly become you-know-what. Now, chekwa and 5-6? How are they racist? I'm not saying that they're aren't; I haven't heard them before.

Tsino and intsik aren't racist to me... they're just words. I hate tsekwa though. This lady was once like "o Filipino ka pala... I thought you were tsekwa"... I just frowned at her lol.
