Found this site while looking for info about Cambodia's islands. Basically they want to demonstrate to the government that it's possible to make money from the islands without destroying their ecosystems.
It seems pretty cool to me (I like to be a hippy sometimes :P), and I definitely would go there once it's open. Hopefully it's a sustainable project though. At the very least it provides a different kind of resort for the traveler. The site has a decent amount of info so it's worth a read.

I hope it will sustain its natural beauty forever but I doubt that will likely happen. Hun Sen have already leased the surrounding islands near it to foreign developers and they will be building and transporting tons of crap back in forth for another 99 years. I better go visit these areas while it still has its natural beauty.
